37th festival of handmade craft groups took place in Poreč on 24th and 25th September 2025. Sixty handmade craft groups from Croatia took part. Nine handmade craft groups presented their research work.
Handmade craft group „Mladi zadrugari“ from primary school Jože Šuran, Višnjan and handmade craft group „Parentino“ from secondary school Mate Balota, Poreč were the hosts of the festival.
There were some school guests like schools from Serbia, Romania and Montenegro.
Our handmade craft group „Lavanda“ took part at the festival too. Sixth grade students Sara Radoš and Ana Zec presented work of our group. They presented products that our hardworking members make throughout the school year. They also explained the importance of handmade craft group activities in teaching process.
Through active work in our group students develop working skills,responsibility,creativity,entrepreneurial competence and ecological awareness. At the same time they gain, improve and apply new knowledge.
By taking part in handmade craft group activities students come up with new ideas, they cooperate and make friends.
